LinkedIn Releases Skills on the Rise List for 2025
The methodology and insights by LinkedIn’s Economic Graph and Scaled Insights teams released a list of 15 top skills on the rise this year in 8 countries. LinkedIn evaluates skill growth through three pillars: skill acquisition, hiring success, and emerging demand.
It measures the rate at which members add new skills, the share of hired members possessing a skill, and the prevalence of skills in job postings. Growth rates are compared year-over-year, with data normalized and excluding basic digital literacy, language skills, or overly broad skills. Insights are further enriched by analyzing industries and job titles most associated with each skill.
